Numbers are universal & the science of mathematics is the key to the universe The use of numbers and mathematics is common to every civilization in the world and as old as mankind itself. Bones and stones dating as far back as 30,000bc have been found, carved with "counting" marks - though what prehistoric man was kept track of will remain a mystery.

Today numbers are more than a means to count dates or hides. Numbers are the basis of every commerce system. the backbone of computer, medical and space technology. From Pythagoras in 600bc Greece and beyond Einstein numbers are the Rosetta Stone for understanding the laws of physics that govern our universe. Quite a feat considering that mathematics is based on 10 simple digits which , in mathematics, are called the Natural Numbers, 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 & 0.

An early use of numbers, like astrology, was for prediction and prophesy, evidenced in the written and religious records of almost every culture throughout the globe - Mayan, Greek, Roman, Celtic, Scandinavia, and throughout Asia - which is the first attempts to convert anecdotal observation to the quest for scientific knowledge. But comparing astrology to numerology is like comparing apples and oranges.

Astrology remains a tool of prediction - that says human action is affected and dictated by the alignment of heavenly bodies. However, astrology is a flawed science forced to reinvent itself to fit every scientific discovery about space. Astrology was originally based on the incorrect and proven wrong premise that the sun and planets revolve around the earth, This premise was later revised to - the position of the sun, moon and planets in relationship to earth, but even this justification is weak. For example, after Pluto was discovered in the 20th century it was ordained that every Capricorn be saddled by the ungainly and negative weight of being "ruled" by the planet Pluto . What happens to all those dour and serious Capricorns now, since Pluto has been lately discovered not to be a planet at all, but just a hunk of orbiting ice. Oh, well back to the drawing board!

Numerology is not about prediction. It is the path to understanding yourself and those around you.
